The last time inflation was really high was back in the late 70s and early 80s. At that time, the Federal Reserve decided to raise interest rates a ton– up to 20%. And this did bring inflation under control BUT it caused massive unemployment and led to a big recession. Are there other ways to stop inflation? And can we do anything now to prevent high inflation in the future? Myles explores the possibilities in the final part of our series.
